Can Twitter really help a classroom learn by asking people around the world to help out?

Can you help these students out? I found this on Twitter. I'm just passing it along. If you can send a postcard to these students,  send an email to: (email address was here)

Hello everyone! My little cousin's Social Studies class is attempting to learn about people from different communities/countries both near and far. I am asking all of you to send a postcard to the below address to aid in the class's learning of different parts/people of the world. Please send your postcard to the below address.. Much Thanks...

(ADDRESS WAS HERE)

Please pass this message along, use twitter, your blog, your friend's blog, etc. I want to see if twitter is as powerful as everyone says it is. :)

P.S. - If you are going to help us out please send me an email or direct message listing the postcard's state/country you are sending from so I can list off all of the places so we don't have too many from one place. I will put the list below as I receive emails. If you'd like, I can list those who helped out. Send a link for me to post along side the state/country so others can connect with you and view your blog, website, and/or your twitter.

Thanks again,
Nicholas Patten
